Julian Manley

Julian Manley has been directly involved in research, training and consultancy for organizations in Spain and Britain since 2000 when he qualified with a Diploma in Organizational Consultancy from the Tavistock Institute. In 2004 he was awarded an MSc with Distinction in Group Relations and Society at the University of the West of England, Bristol, U.K., and his dissertation was awarded The Business West Prize for Outstanding Achievement and Contribution to the Business Community, Bristol. His commitment to on-going research and innovation is reflected in his continued work, on a part time basis, into organizational communication in the Centre for Psycho-Social Studies, (CPPS), at the University of the West of England. In 2006/07 he spent 8 months as resident at Schumacher College International Centre for Ecological Studies, forging links between his CPSS research into organizational communication and the principles of holistic ecology and sustainability that are an integral part of the work of Schumacher College, an experience that he endeavours to include in his consultancy work.

His overall aim is to contribute to the wellbeing and health of people in organizations and thereby engender success and a sense of holistic achievement on many different levels, including a combination of aspects that are often deemed to be paradoxical in nature, such as the economical, ethical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of organizational life.

She has worked with Experimental Arid Zone Station (CSIC) in Almeria (Spain), Dundee University (UK), Giessen University (Germany) and China. Nicole works with meditation techniques and experiential work such as vision quests in the attempt to explore the human relationship with their environment and how one’s perception of this relationship can be brought into daily awareness.
